Message Just put a 500 CID pushrod engine with a supercharger in it running carbs and distributor with a couple of holley doublepumper 750's. Jet it to run alcohol and get a couple of 10# NOS tanks and a foggerplate. It will make a lot of noise, a WHOLE lot more power/torque and in the long run, it wont cost you 1/3 of what an RB26 swap will cost you. It will also be easy to work on, wont have any complicated electronics and definately be a crowd pleaser.

But the VG has a graceful design and very robust at that. A set of forged pistons, rods, good portwork, large injectors and some big hairdryers and you can easily see 600+RWHP and potentially more with proper tuning. Not to mention, the engine fits in the car with stock parts. =)
